In order to maintain excellence, a good work environment, and ethical and transparent relations, Mendes Júnior relies on an Integrated Management System (IMS).
Integrated Management System
The company has developed the base of its IMS on four pillars: quality service and support, employee’s health and safety, respect for the environment, and social responsibility.
The system combines concepts and guidelines that uphold the values and principles of the corporation. During all stages of project development, the QMSR policy is adhered to maintaining quality, environmental sustainability, occupational health and safety, and social responsibility.
This commitment provides higher value for clients, supports sustainability, and promotes economic, social, and environmental development.
In recognition of the Integrated Management System, Mendes Júnior was the first heavy construction company in Latin America to be awarded the International Bureau Veritas Certification. This certification is based on ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management), and SA 8000 (Social Responsibility Management) standards.
